We are Kahran and Regis Bethencourt, a husband and wife photography team based in Atlanta. For over 16 years, we have been creating portraits that show Black children exactly who they are before the world gets a chance to tell them otherwise.

Every session is an experience we design on purpose. The styling, the story, the moment a child sees their portrait for the first time and finally recognizes themselves the way we see them. That is the work. That is always the work.

Confidence is not taught. It is experienced. We're just grateful we get to be the ones creating that experience.
